2012 - 2017

YouTubeKBPlays / KBPlaysYT

So… I had just begun my journey on the internet at this stage and didn’t really have a name. So I took inspiration from different YouTubers and most of them had something along the lines of “YouTube(something)Plays” or “(something)YT”

Fun fact: My first ever Discord Username, “InceptionKBPlays” was inspired by “InceptionTime”, a Roblox Administrator!

2017 - 2019

SP3CTR3_Nobel

In between these two years, I had joined my very first gaming clan on Roblox, SP3CTR3 (pronounced: Spectre), it was a friendly community of several individuals, mostly teenagers that just had a strong interest for Roblox gaming and even Arma 3!

Fun fact: The name SP3CTR3_Nobel, Nobel being my callsign came about from the scientific element, Nobelium, which was also a part of my Discord Username during a period of time ; “Nobelium_Nite”. And yes, this was heavily joked about that I was a Nobel Prize Winner (unfortunately, no I’m not.)

2019 - 2024

TheOfficialJaysonite

So during this time, I was rebranding my previous indie-game studio from Gaming Brother Games to Jaysonite Studios, while my brother was slowly working behind the scenes as he started having his own personal commitments in real life. I thought “Well, I don’t want people to get scammed by people claiming to be me” so… this was my ‘solution’.

Fun fact: While I was a part of Hornbill Interactive (MYSverse Sim), we were actually invited to the Roblox Developers Conference from 2021 - 2023.

2024 - Present

poixxoned

On several social media platforms, I still go by TheOfficialJaysonite, but I am slowly taking on this new username. This name is derived from “poisoned”, just with the “s” replaced with double Xs, a hidden reference to my favourite number, 20 but written in Roman Numerals.

Fun fact: This name actually came about when I was watching Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) matches. I thought I should have a unique name so in the future if I were to participate in any tournaments, I would have a unique name to be remembered by. lol.

So, why Content Creation?

Well, this is the interesting part. I began my content creation since 2012 actually, when I began uploading Lego MOC builds, basically scrambling to put any Lego pieces I could together to form different vehicles such as buses or planes.

But, I stopped. I figured perhaps that’s not what I wanted so I ventured into a different but yet similar ‘creative’ industry, which was Roblox Game Development.

I worked with developers from Singapore and Malaysia to assist in the development of different projects such as Lebuhraya, Bandar, Downtown Core and even Asterwale.

After which, I had slowly shifted my focus back to Content Creation as I realized that Game Development was taking far too much time away from my own personal life and freedom, so yeah, here I am, on my Twitch Channel where you’d see me smash my table a few times every now and then while screaming in VALORANT or other games.
